Do you have clients presenting to your clinic with a history of cancer, lymphoedema, lipoedema or other chronic conditions related to the lymphatic system, but you are unable to safely treat them because you have not had the appropriate training? This decongestive lymphatic therapy course will give you this and more. Learn how to apply your critical thinking and your investigative health history skills to design a safe, person-centred treatment plan for the management of oedema. You will cover the five key elements of decongestive lymphatic therapy including:
compression (bandaging and garments)

exercise
skin care
modification of activities of daily living
There will also be an opportunity to see (and use) the sequential intermittent pneumatic compression pump/sleeves and low level laser therapy.
